Columbia Sussex Corporation announced the purchase of the Caesars Tahoe Casino in South Lake Tahoe, California. The company will pay $45 million for the facilities in late May and they plan to keep the casino open.
Director of Development for Columbia Sussex Corp., Joe Young, said that the new name of the gaming venue will be Mont Bleu and it will be remodeled. The Roman columns and fountains will be removed and a nightclub and a high-end lounge will be built.
The new casino will offer 500 slot machines and 50 table games like roulette, blackjack and craps. According to Young, the company’s aim is to attract young people looking for some fun to add to their nightlives.
