Yaakov Rafaeli, together with Lubar, the company where he works as a president, have presented a demand in the District Court of Tel Aviv, against gambling software provider Playtech and another three companies for breaking the law patents with regards to an online roulette system that could change the virtual game universe forever.

Until the present time, online gaming has been based on computerized systems that virtually generate random numbers, which are the results of the roulette wheel. The claimant assures that the patented technology allows this to happen in a real casino, with a real croupier and live. In this way, instead of been determined mathematically by a computerized system, Lubar’s technology allows the results to be determined by utilizing a real roulette wheel and ball.

According to Lubar and Rafaeli, the company has already registered the patent for this technology in the United States and Australia, and in other countries it’s about to be approved. This company wants its patent to be recognized and applied in the whole world.
